Have a look back at : Talk on "Living and Working in Sweden"

On September 23rd, Sodexo hosted a meeting organized by the French Chamber of Commerce in Sweden on the theme "Living and Working in Sweden". Let’s have a look back to this event which gathered many participants for its first edition.

The meeting took place at the premises of our partner Sodexo Nordic AB who generously opened their doors for the occasion. The aim was to present the characteristics of the Swedish market but also the different aspects of the country for the newly-arrived in Sweden, as well as being a place of exchange and networking among all participants.

Started with the traditional Swedish Fika and a table tour of each participant, the meeting continued with a presentation by our host Eva Kristensson, Communication Director at Sodexo Nordic, on the Sodexo group's global activity and in the Nordic countries, as well as the managerial structure of the group and its main achievements.

Estelle Darrigade, Project Manager and in charge of Recruitment and HR at the French Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, then presented the different aspects of the Swedish labor market, life in Sweden in general and steps in the search for a new job.

This was followed by a quick presentation of the activities of the French Chamber of Commerce in Sweden by its director Virginie Ferraton. Then Marlene Sellebråten presented the workshop that she will animate for the CCFS in October on the optimization of the profile LinkedIn.

Two previous job seekers concluded the morning with a presentation of their backgrounds and careers to provide valuable insights into their job search and integration experience in Sweden, thus complementing theory with practice’s experience.

In the end, a visit to Sodexo's activity based premises by Eva Kristensson rounded out this eventful meeting.

Throughout the meeting and during the lunch that followed, the participants were able to ask many questions and make useful contacts for the rest of their projects. We wish them good luck and success in their professional projects in Sweden and thank Eva, Lucie and Vincent for their generous participation.
